SUMMARY:National Lived Experience Leadership Conference
DESCRIPTION:Destination Home and The National Coalition for the Homeless will host the National Lived Experience Leadership Conference in San Jose\, California\, from November 11 to 13\, 2024. The Homeless Advocacy Board submitted a proposal to speak at that conference\, and it was accepted! This is incredibly exciting news for our small group doing big things. \nThe National Lived Experience Leadership Conference is designed by and for people with lived experience of homelessness. Activists\, local leaders\, and people with homelessness experience will gather to build power and unity – and mobilize for action to end homelessness. \nThis annual conference will be hosted for the first time on the West Coast. It will feature panel discussions\, action labs\, and workshops led by experts in the field—including people with lived experience of homelessness. SUMMARY:THE HAB’s San Jose Roadmap Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:We are asking for your help in our newest endeavor. On November 11-13\, 2024\, Destination Home and The National Coalition for the Homeless will be hosting the National Lived Experience Leadership Conference in San Jose\, California.  The HAB submitted a proposal to speak at that conference\, and their proposal was accepted!  This is incredibly exciting news for our small group that is doing big things.  While there will be scholarship monies available for some of the expenses\, we are looking to raise close to $10\,000 to accommodate everyone from the HAB who is interested in attending. \nIf you are not interested or able to participate in this event but would still like to donate to the Homeless Advocacy Board there are multiple ways to do so. Checks can be written to Lancaster Moravian Church and mailed to PO Box 1327\, Lancaster\, PA\, 17608.  Donations can also be made via Venmo @moraviancenterlancaster with a note that it is for the HAB.
